Son of John Jacks and Aseneth Senith Martin Richard and Sophia's Children are: John Jacks – Thomas Jacks – Elias Barnes Eli Jacks, Sr – Mary Polly Jacks – Richard Marion Jacks Jr – Catharine Emily Kate Jacks – Elizabeth Jacks – Frances Fanny Jacks. Richard had 8 siblings: Thomas Jacks, Anna Jacks and 6 other siblings.

Richard married Sophia Jacks (born Barnes) on month dayat age 24 at marriage place, Kentucky. Sophia was born inin Rowan Co., North Carolina, USA. They had 13 children: Catherine Anders (born Jacks), Thomas Jacks and 11 other children.

Mary Ann’s parents were Richard Marion Jacks (Jr.) and Cassandra Powell. Her grandparents were Richard Marion Jacks (Sr.) and Sophia Barnes. They are listed in the census in Boonesborough, Kentucky. So they were also among the early settlers that came from Kentucky to Howard County, Missouri.
